  This place is that of the essence of the south. You're going to need a nap after eating here but it's well worth it. This place doesn't pretend to be something it's not and that's what makes it so great. Make sure you get a slice of pie.

  Absolutely delicious. Homemade cooking at its best. Very reasonable. I haven't had food this good in a long while and we eat out often. Even my boyfriend liked it and he almost never likes anything in restaurants. Don't miss this place. It's down home country food in a casual dining area. Excellent service, too.

  Just off the interstate, but quiet. Great staff and reasonably fast service. We had hamburgers, chicken casserole, onion rings, creamed corn, slaw, and fried pickles, all good. Meat and three for $6.50 is amazing--I don't know how they break even.
